Once again we're merging with Rich's excellent Beer and Scripting SIG ("scripting" here means languages such as Perl, Python, and Ruby). The last meeting was so successful that I'm making this the default for dinner meetings. Thanks, Rich!
I have a speaker for March 27, but I need to get confirmation from our venue. Watch this space. :)

January 24, 2007: Beer and Scripting SIG
For January, I've again decided to merge our meeting with Rich Morin's Beer and Scripting SIG. This is a Wednesday, not a Tuesday. If it continues to work well, I may make BASS the default for dinner meetings (more people + more perspectives = better meeting).
Meanwhile I'm working on a number of potential speakers/talks for 2007. Stay tuned!

December 27, 2006: Beer and Scripting SIG
For December, I've decided to merge our meeting with Rich Morin's Beer and Scripting SIG. This is a Wednesday, not a Tuesday; the BASS always meets on fourth Wednesdays.
Since this is two days after Christmas, attendance may be sparse.
